The DJ SR-71 (giving you the best in Techno, House, Breaks & Trance) named him self after the first plane to break the sound barrier, the SR-71 Blackbird* because he wanted to break musical barriers! A 13 year veteran & founder of Sleeper Cell Music. Playing the electronic dance music scene from LOS ANGELES & SAN DIEGO,, DJ SR-71 went to his first dance club when he was only 15 years old. At the age of twenty, DJ SR-71 played at his first rave called “Jungle Book 98" at the Masterdome in San Bernardino, California. Playing Los Angeles rave scene for the first couple of years of his dj career helped SR-71 thrive in the late 90's and set the path for him to play in San Diego and around the rest of the south west. As a DJ, SR-71 has collected and played all styles of dance music but preferred his favorite styles, which were Trance and Hard Dance, which propelled him through the South Western dance music community.

Together with a handful of close friends united by music, DJ SR-71 has helped the San Diego dance community by producing and performing at dozens of events. Some of the parties that DJ SR-71 is well known for are the industrial parking lot parties called "Back in The Day" that took place from 2000-2003.
Jesse Urban aka "UL" showed his love for music and electronics at an early age. He taught himself to work his family organ, in which he layered songs from random music books laying around with the built in drum sampler. Since then he learned to play multiple instruments and even took on classical piano training in order to strengthen his knowledge of chords, keys and melody. He later descended into the underground EDM realm in 1998, attending his first shows feat Delta 9, Frankie Bones, Paul Johnson and so on. Understanding he loved his 4/4 he sought further into the EDM community, where he found...DnB. Shortly thereafter he purchased his first turntables and mixer, teaching himself to mix, intent on becoming a skilled DJ. It wasn't long before he was playing local shows in Minneapolis and found a venue which suited his style, The Quest. Nearly 6 years passed, in between his journey for sonic deliverance, he joined the Marines, which brought him to Japan. In 2007, he played at Club MnD @ WitchWork Countdown, where he was discovered by Takara Records. Takara took him to multiple other venues across the land including Nekke and Euphoria. Moving back to the US in mid 2008, he discovered the SD underground scene. At this time he began to venture to different musical styles, Breaks, Techno, Prog. He has played multiple local shows, in which he was discovered by Sleeper Cell music, where he currently resides. This brought UL to play along side the likes of DJ Micro, Charles Feelgood, DJ Shortee, Thee-O, and Huggie to name a few.
